Am I at risk by not using Private Home Management? |

You may be. Have you ever checked with your service providers to ensure they have the proper insurance? With costs of insurance extremely high, many contractors do let their policies lapse. In return, you are significantly exposed should there be damage to your home, or should an employee be injured while on your property.
PHM ensures that all our subcontractors carry adequate insurance, which is verified several times yearly to ensure a policy has not lapsed or been cancelled. In addition, PHM carries an umbrella policy over all of our subcontractors ensuring the homeowner is always covered.

What does PHM provide to the homeowner prior to assuming service? |

PHM believes that a proper knowledge of each individual home is crucial to providing personalized, professional service.
Upon initiation of the contract, PHM will complete (together with the homeowner) a detailed home report to be entered into our PHM Database.
This report will include:
- A homeowner preference worksheet, including:
- Contact information, preference of contact type (email, phone, etc.)
- Selection of proactive services for automatic scheduling
- Listing of any services or projects homeowner is considering for the next 12 months
- A detailed worksheet with information about the home. Examples of information captured include:
- Age and type of home, including age of roof, etc.
- Dimensions, approximate lot size, etc.
- Mechanical information such as heater type/model, capacity of electrical panel, etc.
The database about your home will be updated as services are performed, and will be available upon request by the homeowner at any time.

Does PHM encourage existing clients to refer neighbors to the service? |

Absolutely! PHM's refer-a-neighbor program offers a $50 credit on your next month's bill for each neighbor who is referred by you and subsequently signs up for an annual service contract.

Are the service providers owned by Private Home Management? |
| |
No, PHM is a management service and does not directly employ any of our subcontractors. We feel it is best to leave the work to the service providers with the most experience in their individual fields.
PHM's service providers are among the best in the business, and together with PHM's service management capabilities, we are sure you'll always be satisfied.

Will PHM manage our existing service contractors? |
| |
Yes we will. While PHM prefers to use our own sub-contractors to ensure consistently superior service and reliability, we understand that a homeowner may be particularly fond of an existing service provider. This information will be captured during the completion of the preference worksheet, and PHM will contact the service provider to add them to our preferred contractor registry.
